COCONUT POLES

Coconut poles are traditionally used for the legs of gazebos or outdoor structures.  We stock lathe turned poles which have a finished size of 180mm diameter x 3.3m long.  This length allows the installer to place the pole inground if required but also allows the pole to be cut and placed on stirrups as an alterntive.  Where poles are placed inground appropriate white ant treatment should be undertaken as a precaution.

These poles only require a light sanding to allow finishing with oil or varnish.

CROWN TILES

These crown tiles are hand made using traditional methods and are fired in wood kilns which produce a first fired terracotta finish.  These tiles are used to finish off your gazebo when you have a multi sided structure (hexagon, octagon etc) and are also used on pyramid shaped structures. They are placed at the apex of the roof and provide that traditional finishining touch.
